Episode 1 focuses on Ireland’s Top 20 New Entries. We will get a sense of current spending trends, this year’s newcomers include a recycling tycoon, an outspoken pugilist and the creator of an internet estate agency.
Episode two focuses on Ireland’s Top 20 Richest Women.  In the centenary year of women’s suffrage, we countdown the country’s wealthiest women, who are the women who have managed to succeed in this very male dominated world and how did the new entries manage to get so rich?
We reveal the biggest moneymakers in sport, showbiz and music, and meet some of the younger entries, like 27 year-old Athlone man Séan McLoughlin, also known as Jack Septic Eye, who has already pocketed over two and a half million euro. His video game channel on YouTube channel now has over 16 million subscribers. Why is it so successful? He puts it down to swearing a lot…
In this second programme, Joe counts down the top fifteen on the list. It’s a list that includes motormouth Michael O’Leary and Dunnes supremo Margaret Heffernan – but neither of them are at number one. Joe also travels to Suffolk to meet one of the lucky fifteen, Edward Guinness, the 4th Earl of Iveagh, on his 22,000 acre onion farm. We also reveal if Daniel Day Lewis is more wealthy than Liam Neeson or Colin Farrell, and in a where are they now? section we look at a few former billionaires now conspicuously absent from the list – step forward Sean Quinn and Tony O’Reilly.
